This event took place on Saturday February 16 2019 we arrived at 4:50 and didnโ€™t leave the restaurant till 7:25 I have never spent to much time in a restaurant and more than half of that was waiting around being avoided.

Me and my Aunt ordered the 2 for $25 the food was good and we asked ahead if we could substitute the dessert for the chocolate lava cake and our server said yes they should be able to. About 5mins later the server came back and said they werenโ€™t able to now.

We were confused because at the same location theyโ€™ve done it for us before. So we asked to speak to the manager who came looking unprofessional with their buttons on their bottom shirt undone. And we asked politely about it and they said they could do the sโ€™mores lava cake and we said no because weโ€™ve tried that before and we didnโ€™t like it. He offered a dessert that wasnโ€™t listed under the 2 for 25 that was the exact same price as the one we wanted so we didnโ€™t understand why the manager was being so stubborn he then proceeds to tell us well he can only substitute if they are out of a dessert so we then asked can we just pay the difference and he rudely said no the dessert is NOT an option.

He then says we can pick the cheesecake or the cookie thatโ€™s it. Even tho he offered us a different lava cake earlier. We then said itโ€™s fine we donโ€™t want any well take the lava cake weโ€™ll pay full price then. So he walks away and 15 mins later go by and we are frustrated at this point and a random server brings us a cheesecake to go.

We were confused and said it wasnโ€™t ours the server then goes to our server whispers in their ear and goes into the back without anyone speaking to us again a second person comes out with the chocolate lava cake to go. I stated to the second person coming up to us we did not order anything ToGo and I said I donโ€™t know why I keep getting random things brought to the table. He then leaves the Togo lava cake there in the bag and walks away to our server I can see across the restraint and whispers in their ear again. Keep in mind we have yet to get our bill and we are already getting a 2nd ToGo dessert the machines broken so we canโ€™t oay on their our desert comes with ice cream and is sitting their melting in the bag.

Our server avoids coming to our table so I have to flag down the same rude manager and I state to him all we wanted was to enjoy the dessert we like there inside the restaurant we offered to pay the difference I donโ€™t understand this is as hard as pulling teeth to get what we want to order. Finally we get our dessert and no check weโ€™ve been in the restaurant for about 2hrs and a good 1hr of it was waiting around. I personally didnโ€™t think after all the inconveniences the manabger would charge us for the dessert. But we have to ask 2 times for the bill and when we finally get it.

We are charged for the 2 for $25 that said we got the cheesecake and the lava cake separate for full price. We were ready to leave and didnโ€™t have any more energy to keep asking questions back and forth the manager was very stubborn and wanted to be right.

And didnโ€™t care about making our dinner at chilis nice he only carried about proving his point even though we asked ahead of time and our server said yes. We paid the bill and left I will never return to this Chiliโ€™s ever again.

The 2 for $25 is a deal where youโ€™re pretty much getting all the food for half off to begin with. In the menu it says please no substitutions.

When people like you get something once you think itโ€™s a free for all and can get whatever you want every time you come in. Thereโ€™s no way in the computer to put in and account for the dessert you want (molten cake) while simultaneously getting the 2 for $25 deal. If they say yes to you every single time you come in then they have to say yes to other people who want to change the deal and it defeats the whole purpose of the deal in the first place. You cannot get everything you want.

Also, the waitress was helping you by putting in the cheesecake. If she didnโ€™t select a dessert (applicable with the 2 for $25) you wouldnโ€™t have gotten the deal at all because the computer is set up to only adjust the price once all items of the deal are placed in the computer (app, entree, dessert).

You must be an employee because you MAD. Itโ€™s about customer service and the whole time we were talked to with an attitude and we were ignored.

I offered to pay for the lava cake separate. The issue is I told the manager this and he wanted to be petty and childish and bring me random desserts TO GO When I said weโ€™ll get the lava cake for here and Iโ€™ll pay for it. Thatโ€™s very childish to keep sending me different desserts to go.

It was too different desserts and when the random worker would drop it off they would take it to the table then directly go in the corner and whisper and laugh with my server. Maybe you should get a different career other than chiliโ€™s because youโ€™re home sitting chiliโ€™s reviews mad.

i have worked with the company in the past and was explaining how the deal works because itโ€™s not as simple as someone just saying no to you. I agree it was petty for the manager to send you two desserts to go when you clearly said you wanted the one dessert (that you were paying extra for) at the restauraunt. In my time with the company Iโ€™ve never seen my managers purposely do something like that to any of our customers and usually are giving out free food and letting the customer get whatever they want.
