Myself, wife and son recently visited chilis in Florence Kentucky along with 9 other family members. We got there at 9:45 P.M.

on Friday March 3rd of this year. We were greeted and seated right away. The floor underneath and all around our table was filled with filthy food and wrappers from previous customers. Normally I wouldn't complain about this, however, this experience got much worse.

We were sitting there for nearly 15 full minutes without a single person approaching us for a drink order or anything at all. I thought it was odd, so I looked up to find 3 servers who were all stationed around our tables gathered on the other side of the room all staring at us and whispering to each other while shaking their heads. For FIVE full minutes after that we all watched as these three servers would go check on their tables and then re-gather, scowl at us and shake their heads. FINALLY another server by the name of SUE walked up to the three of them and said something brief but heated.

She then walked into the kitchen area and said something brief but heated again to the manager. After looking clearly unhappy she walked up to our table and said, I am so so sorry guys, I will take your order. We were NOT in her station but she could not stand watching us NOT get taken care of. She then said I am bringing out some free chips and salsa because we were inconvenienced.

Mind you, not a single one of us at the table had said anything at all to Sue, but she still felt compelled to give us something for our inconvenience. When she brought the chips out, she said I am so sorry guys and to top it off, my Manager is upset with me for waiting on us. I COULD NOT BELIEVE MY EARS!!!!! THE MANAGER WAS ACTUALLY ANGRY BECAUSE SUE WAS GIVING ABOVE AND BEYOND CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!

THIS MADE ME LIVID! You have 3 younger servers who are apparently lazy and a manager that could obviously care less. On top of it, the floors were completely disgusting with leftover food. What kind of managers does Chilis hire!!

Sue was so excellent and I am so ANGRY that this manager would have any negativity towards Sue.

This shows complete mismanagement and this display can only make things WORSE on the customer level experience because all of the people who are working underneath this man will learn that POOR CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE is awarded and GREAT CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE is punished. I am absolutely disgusted (and you will be too when you look at the pictures I'm posting!)
