Chilis - "Gratuity Guide"
Colonie NY location is trying to mislead customers with their "gratuity guide" on the meal receipt. I wonder if this is legal?????
We ordered two meals. One meal was burger with fires. We asked to have onion rings instead of the fries and when then order arrived it had 4 onion rings. 4 rings and an average size burger on a large tray, looks lost.
The manager looked like we were bothering him and he said it was per corporate directions, which is 4 oz. Poor policy and even worst delivery or meal and explanation of manager. It is more profitable to delivery us poor meals and compensate those who complain, which is very fee. Most people do not take the time to voice their concerns with corporate offices, because they are usually ignored.
The only appropriate response that they hear is your choice to never eat there again. I will never eat there again.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Monetary Loss: $1000.

Am I seeing this right, the receipt was for $31.16 and the gratuity guide for 15% is $7.20? That calculates to about 23%, what am I missing?
Also, I consider a would consider a gratuity suggestion on a receipt in very bad taste.
I try to stay away from the chain corporate owned restaurants for reasons similar to this. These places often have people running around that seem to think they are doing you a service for coming to their business.
